A message to potential members
Dear Motorhome Owner,
The Revconeers is a chapter of the Family Motor Coach Association. We are an International Area chapter. Our membership is made up of motorhome owners from all over the United States and Canada as well as a few in England and Germany.
The chapter was formed in 1977, and its initial purpose was to allow Revcon owners to obtain technical information, both from members' personal experiences and from the factory, and to provide a means for them to meet other Revcon owners in a social setting. The Revcon factory closed in 1991.
The membership is open to any FMCA member regardless of the type of motorhome he/she owns. The reason for this is primarily because, as the Revcons age and are traded or sold for other makes, we do not want to lose the close bonds of friendship and camaraderie which have developed between our members over the years.
We strive to have rallies in various areas of the country so that all may be able to attend a Revcon rally, an FMCA convention, or both. Our annual meetings are held at our pre-convention rally just prior to the FMCA summer conventions. The highlight of our rally year is our annual Quartzsite get-together, held at the end of January/early February in Quartzsite, Arizona, in which we typically have up to 60 motorhomes attending.
We also publish a quarterly newsletter, "The Revconeer," in which we share technical information, future rally announcements, after-rally reports, FMCA activities, classified ads and other topics of interest.
If you have any questions about the Revconeers Chapter, please don't hesitate to contact me or perhaps one of our officers located closest to you. We invite you to become a member of the Revconeers.
Sincerely,
Harry Salit
President
